Do you have a blue warranty plate on the dash of your truck? That corresponding year will be the year it was built (typically found in the '80's) trucks. If it is a USAF truck they typically will have the year as part of the VIN ie 88kXXXXXX denotes a 1988 truck. The army has a different VIN...
