You got it Toby...not chemical but water based. When you spray you have to remember your waiting for water to evaporate.not chemicals.
Nothing wrong with rolling or brushing either.

SW Bradley was telling me they loaded Behr in spray cans for him ? This is a step up for a lot of us for touch up or even full jobs with folks without spray equip - maybe Swbradley can chime in here and tell us how they did it and how long it took.

BUT - like his topper we are in the process of making into a BIKINI TOPPER for a CUCV - the layers of paint lay out as this:
First two coats are Military - urethane based
The primer laid on top of this was Laquer based - this does NOT bond...
I do not know the Federal # to get the color but someone else here sure does I bet.
The Behr ULTRA is what has been getting used as well as I have this on the M909 and love it
Behr also has the Marque paint which is another step better than this - it is exterior only and it will not allow dirt...
Ok ya all - the new M909 - I am highly considering putting this into Behr paint - but NOT the color anyone else has but something totally off the wall - it would get a full pressure washing near steam to get all the debris off it and then do a little body work as that is all it needs - but then...
Just FYI - I have had PPG - SW - other paint dealers give me the same run around on Federal Paint codes - so be easy on HD - leaning on them instead of teaching them will get you no where - its not your job to teach them but that is what your all doing and been given the plan to get help. Those...
