Each set-up looks good.

But I'm leaning to the Garwood (clean, and simple).

Garwood M134G it is!

Made some progress on the body today, 5" pipe with 3/8" wall.

Inner frame and rotor hub just about done!

Got the flats for the motor mount milled as well as the hole for the chain drive.

Installed the side mount bracket and the pin that will swivel the gun up and down.

That's a complicated bit of fabrication. Did you knock that together yourself?

Design, cuts, fitting is all me. Welding is done by my Tig guy.

Motor mount is finished, got a chance to fit it up today and test the chain drive system. Works pretty good overall, motor has a nice mean sound to it that will work perfect for this application :mrgreen:

Finished the chain guard, now putting the finishing touches on the drive system. For the first time today the barrel assembly and body came together for a few minutes. This is starting to look like something!

While I wish I could have made it a simfire, it's going to have to stay as just a spinning prop for now. I am looking into a way to rig a micro sound effect board into the trigger that will broadcast a firing sound over my PA whenever the trigger is depressed.

Hopefully the entire thing will be finished and mounted in the next couple months.

After a minor setback I am back on track. Closed up the back end of the body today and started adding the filler pieces to the mounting clamp.
