Would like to regear my 1009,what would be a good gear with a 700r4? Looking for improved acceleration and decent MPG.

My thoughts would have you in the 3,73 or 4.10 range.

Thanks,was thinking 373-390s with 33 inch tires.

With 33 inch tires and the 700r4 you need 4.10s. any lower gear would be too much reduction, any higher would be sluggish behind the 6.2

I would go with 3.42s and it will give you a little better MPG and don't forget the 700R4 has a steep 3.06 first gear, I love my 700R4 but I have it in a 89 Mazda B2200.
