Now that I don't have any CUCVs with pickup beds and I sold all my M101 racks and tarps, you come up with this. I think it's perfect and agree, the way it should have been. Much better than the factory stuff for sure. I'd be tempted to shorten the bows another inch or two.

Sweet! I was thinkkng of doing something similar with my flat bed on the civy truck but when mocking it up, I found I'd need to make much longer gates.

My parts buddy just uncrated a NOS CUCV cargo cover kit, not sure of the color. Anyone interested, PM me. The OP's truck does look good.

The overall dimensions were only about a inch different. I had to move the middle vertical brace a few inches, and move the forward vertical brace 1 inch. I also had to widen the bows and the front panel 1 inch.
