cucv towbar attachment points

Since I no longer have my medium duty towbar with the adapters, I need to rig something up to tow my newly acquired blazer. Can somebody please give me the outside dimensions of the attachment points that come out of the front bumper? Is it a square or rectangular tube? Does it use the standard 1" pin? Thanks, Devin

Devin, I can tell you that it has 1" pins but don't have one to measure. No one out there with a bar you can borrow?

Thanks for doing that. I wanted to make something up before going to pick it up. Will Wagner has offered to let me use his towbar so I can use that as a back up plan. I plan on towing it with my motorhome on camping trips so either way I have to rig something up.

the tow/shackle points on the front and back of my 86 m1008 are 1.5 inches wide by 2 inches tall hope that helps.
