Yes....but that depends on the year of the H1. Later models had heavier moog components.
I always tell folks to use a 92-93 H1 model year...but for the most part, yes....

Thanks, I called my local parts store an it was around $500 for the idler arm an $300 for the pitman arm using the H1 as a parts look up! Yikes! Sooo needless to say I'll be ordering them online. He even told me that was ridiculous an to get them online somewhere instead.

O O O O'RIELLYS told me close to $ 600 for a idler arm and it would take 7 to 10 days to get it! I laughed with the counter guy. Got one on line for under $100 with shipping and that was nos.

Thanks for all the info, I do need a couple more things an I found what else I need an the idler an pitman arm right here in WI at Oshkosh Truck so I'll probably order the stuff from them as the prices weren't to bad plus its kinda local (3 hours away from me).

I am looking for a pitman arm for 1989 HMMWV M998. If you still have one for sale. How much are you asking for it? It looks like there are a couple of different ones available; would any of them work? Do I need to figure out a part number for you? How do I go about it?
Thanks

PS: I tied to send a PM and your inbox is full and people cannot send you a PM until you clear some of the items in your inbox.

The UOC code for your vehicle is found on page 33 of the same TM which is H13 I just replaced both the idler and steering arms on my 1989 M1038 and learned the hard way, when my mechanic said the ones I ordered were a different size. And don't believe any eflea ad that says supercedes all. Stick to the NSN or Parts number.
