    There are no connectors if its like mine. Just a crimped stub.

    Strange. A high end piece of equipment like this would need to be serviceable.

    It sayes in the service manual if im not mistaken that it is not serviceable. Obviously that doesn't mean it can't be serviced.

    Yup little hole in one of the lines. No service valves. Looks like they used one of those quick valves you can clamp onto a line.

    Did they tap the stub or one of the actual supply/return lines?

    A line. Only thing that will be a pain is getting a clamp on valve to fit with the cover back on.

    Ug. Not a good spot to try and braze a TEE and Schrader valve.

    Heck..just take the unit out of the box..makes for access much easier

    Thanks for the info! I have a few of these and was not thrilled to find out that the refrigerant was removed. Conveniently, GP left that info out of the listings.
