1974 Steyr-Puch Haflinger 5-Speed

This sure looks like an example of a pretty clean Halflinger... Does anyone have any experience with these? Looks like it would be cool to have for around the "farm". Sitting on Bring a trailer for $11K...

Randy, the Haflingers are a very capable small truck. I use one a lot on the farm and really enjoy it. Unlike this one you spotted, mine is the USA DOT version and is licensed for highway use. DOT approval required 7" headlights (and other upgrades) giving them a "bug-eyed" appearance, a nickname that stuck.

Even though mine is licensed, I seldom drive on the highway because I am a scaredy-cat in a 1200 lb vehicle. It is too small and slow to be compatible with traffic, especially since I'm accustomed to a larger-than-normal truck.
