Frank,

One of the coldest days of my life, was standing a a snow filled foxhole there, waiting for a sheep herder to clear the range. We had driven up from Bamberg, (400+ klicks?) to fire on the only M60 range we could get in Germany. It was the winter of 84, and long considered one of the coldest in many a moon.
