Goofy Fuel Gauge On AM General M934A0/1...

The fuel gauge on my AM General M934A0/1 has always read a little off, so today when it was reading just a tick above empty I added 20 gallons of fuel. That 20 gallons took the fuel level to the top of the tank and the gauge was reading a little over 1/4 full.

So, who's the culprit, the gauge or the sending unit/float?

Any help in diagnosing this problem is appreciated...

The ONLY true fuel gauge used in MVs is a DIP STICK, anything else is just a guess.
