I'm another fan of the sliders! Same questions - how to mount and how thick? Great looking rig!

Sorry that it has taken me this long to respond. Life gets busy. We used (I think) 3 1/2 or 4 inch square tube. The passengers side is bolted right up to the frame. What everyone wants to know is how did we get around the fuel tank... Pictures are worth a thousand words... Here you go...
