The AFRL Center for Rapid Innovation has successfully first-flight tested a "Contraption That Can Turn Any Plane Into A Robot Plane" (a DRONE).

COULD the deletion of the human pilot from the cockpit be on the horizon with the "easy" retrofit of these ROBOpilots into the drivers seats of the existing aircraft?
I have MANY thoughts on this. Let the discussion begin!
- My first thought being.... I'm jealous. I would have loved being on THAT team of engineers and designers!
