Well.....I am now a firm believer in the deoxit. Sprayed it in the switches and exercised them and the load meter sprung to life and appears to be acting normal. The Gunk brand electrical cleaner did nothing. I could actually see crud coming out of the bottom of the S8 switch tower after using the Deoxit.
