CUCV M1008 - RunAway Starter

The first thing i do when i get a cucv is to get rid of the starter relay. It has a bad design flaw, where the contactor is not flush with the pad and wll arch with each use. I buy my relay from napa, get some heat shrink ring terminals and some liquid electrical tape to coat the terminals when im done.

i took a relay from my truck (with 14.000 miles) apart and inspected it under the microscope (see photos)
