The CUCV in Showtime's Jeremiah

Well I just looked at the tires on one truck and it's 3/4 Ton trailer. It has Cooper 'Super Traction-Tread' 9.50-16.5LT M/S on the trailer and Goodyear 9.50x16.5 LT 'Custom Xtra Grip Wide Tread' on the "5/4" truck, as we refered to them in the service. As it stands right now I may be incorrect on the Firestone brand as being used on these trucks. I know on our Canadian MLVW/M-35's all I had ever come across were Firestone brand tires, with a very close tread pattern to the above tires. I'm pretty sure though on Firestone being a supplier of the 9.00x 16.5's as well but I can't confirm. Sorry for the confusion.

clarification ?

Hi there cucvfreak, Are you asking about the tires on the movie truck or those issued on the canadian 5/4 trucks when they were in service. From what I remember, the orginal tires were goodyear (9:50x16.5) as evilone has said. The tires were a smaller diameter than the old 900-16 ndt. The ones on the movie truck remind of a tire from years ago I think they were called desert dogs ?
