Blown head gasket..help

Hi Guys

I drove the truck home and suddenly the oil seeped into
the cabin. Oilpress was oké.

After 10 min. I checked it out and the headgaskit was blown
out the block partly and oil was seeping out pretty hard.

I have an early M35A1 with Continental Hypercycle engine,
serial 9944, DA-20-018-AMC-0527T, Model 427-2

Could somebody tell me which parts I need to order and what
type of headgasket I need?? The truck has to run next weekend.

All help is welcome, never done this before on these engines.

Corné, you are in big trouble if you expect to get your truck running again by next weekend! I don't know how the parts situation is in the Netherlands, you can probably order head gasket kits from the US at Saturn Surplus http://www.saturnsurplus.com/ or Memphis Equipment http://www.memphisequipment.com/ but getting your parts there in time will be tricky - Maybe Global Express mail will work. In addition to a good tool kit, you'll also need a 3/4" drive 150 ft-lb torque wrench and an adapter for your engine head bolts (adapter from the same two suppliers above). The gasket replacement is fairly straightforward, if you are reasonably skilled in automotive service you should not have too much difficulty.

The head replacement procedure is covered in TM 9-2320-361-34 in the Steel Soldiers TM section, it doesn't specifically mention which engine so I assume the LDS-427 and LDT-465 process and torque specs are the same:
