Thanx to the JAX gang, "engineersta050" (Steve) and "flyusn99" (James) for getting my deuce out of the GL lot last week, so I could pick it up on the weekend. Having a "real" job now is really putting a crimp in my recovery schedule. Thanx again for the help gents. :beer:

That is a really great pic. The sky looks beautiful. Big question though, what prompted the tow using axle clamps?

I have found that the front tires follow better when using the clamps. Less opportunity for them to "get a mind of their own", if you know what I mean.

That makes sense, will need to try. Ypu at least need to head over to a dock and put the deuce in the back for a pic.

I would like to try towing with the axle clamps. I have had the tires "get a mind of their own", it ain't fun! Now that I have a brand new tow bar with all the feet I might just have to try it out. You left the tow bar short?
