I wanted to thank mdmorgan and mdmorganwife for helping clintogf and I out by recovering 2 trucks from Warner Robins and holding them at their beautiful estate. They were very gracious hosts and very helpful.

I had complete trust that the trucks would be properly moved and was not disappointed. The Morgans help allowed my Dad and I to easily recover clintogf's new A2 and my '88 USAF M35A2C.

I didn't take many pictures, but I did want to thank the Morgans and my Dad for their help.

Here are the few pics I took.

Good looking trucks Clinto. A+ rating on the resident Warner Robins reps, Daniel and Mahala. This is why I love this forum so much, lots of real classy folks here.

I would also like to say thank you to Daniel and Mahala as well. Sorry that I was unable to make it with Clinto yesterday. Unfortunately I had to work.

Clinto you disappoint us! no wendy's this time!?!?!?
Dude.

It's just short of 90 miles from my front door to the Morgans place. Dad met me @ 0700 and we planned on hitting a McDonalds for breakfast. Nowhere in our 90 mile trek did we pass a McD's. We had to go about 10 miles out of our way to get food, then backtrack. When is the last time you went 90 miles without seeing a McD's?

Plus, when I am towbarring one of these things, I try to avoid excursions like that since you can't back up and need a lot of room. I always dread getting stuck somewhere and having to unhook everything to get out.

We were in a hurry since the Morgans had work obligations, so we barely got any pictures at all. what I posted is about what we took! We got there, took a short tour of the shop :)drool:) and threw the towbars, lights and chains on, got batteries in my dropside and got moving.

I also did not mention in my initial AAR that a local Sheriff was extremely helpful to us on the way home. On our way down, the city of Monticello, which is an old city with a town square, was having a city fair and the streets were blocked, lots of pedestrians, etc. We knew we wouldn't be able to navigate that with the deuces, so we decided to park the trucks on the side of the road right outside Monticello and take the D250 chase vehicle and scout an alternative route.

About the time we parked, a local Sheriff pulled up. He saw us and realized we'd never make it through the city. I told him we needed to find an alternate route back to Hwy. 11N and he said "follow me!". So we got an escort through some backroads, saving us from easily an hours worth of recon.

I think he was a Jackson Sheriff, and his last name was Allen. I know he'll probably never read this, but he has our most extreme gratitude and his polite, professional and helpful behavior reflected greatly on his city and department.

So that's what Georgia looks like. I will have to make it down there to see it for myself.;) Nice recovery.
I lived in suburban Atlanta for a couple years after getting my first job after college.

North GA is beautiful. I would love to eventually retire to a mountain cabin somewhere around Helen, Blairsville, Toccoa, Dahlonega or any one of several dozen small towns around there.

So once again, I want to thank the Morgans for their assistance.

Clintogf bought 2 M105's from WRAFB and mdmorgan and mdmorganwife picked them up for us. mdmorgan was even swell enough to help load them.

I took some pics because I know everyone loves pics.

I would definitely recommend the morgans for WR pickups. Trustworthy, reliable, etc.

And I though I had white legs!
You must be referring to mdmorgan. I am correctly baked.

I think you overdid it with the pictures of the trailer loading. One picture of each M105 being loaded would have been sufficient(maybe 2 at the most!) It's not like it was an oversize load that might drop off the side of the trailer! :deadhorse:
I am sure you have sufficient bandwidth to cover the pics. :)

Also, I wanted to make sure everyone knows how to load 2 M105's on a trailer. I am being helpful.

Man, cynics everywhere!
