Our Sheriff's Department received a Puma 4x2 MPV last week through the Pentagon's 1033 Program. We don't know too much about this unit. It seems to have been scavenged a little before it was picked up. I understand this vehicles was manufactured using Toyota Dyna 8-145 automotive components by OTT Armored Vehicles (www.ott.co.za) in the Republic of south Africa.

Unfortunately the county SWAt team has had need for this type of vehicle during the last two years when two separate shootings incidences took place.

We are trying to source an original heat/ac unit that sat on the roof of the vehicle behind the turret. We also welcome any additional information about this vehicle. Thanks for any assistance.

PS - The pictures below are from the county garage. There was damage to the left front of the vehicle, but the metal was pulled out today. The plan is to rework the headlights since they were damaged. The last image is what the ac/heat unit looks like.

Don't know if you'll be ble to find the exact unit that came on the vehicle, most likely has something that can't be had or used here in the states. Look into another type of unit from here,
