You would have to look at the truck. There are variations in different trucks that start at a certain serial number. I have seen 2007 trucks that have a 3126 engine.

Superman is right. I've got a 2001 with a C7 in it, it just depends when/if it was rebuilt and by who.

The early 2005s were WTEC III, later 2005s and up were WTEC IV. That's about the only difference. The C7 was used with the A1R in late 2004 and newer.
