The M116 Trailer has a Flatbed with bows and canvas for sides and top and it is mainly used for a single generator or with 2 generators as a powerplant setup

As stated above the M116 or M116Ax is just the chassis, put a cargo bed on it then it's a M101 or M101Ax, if it's a flatbed with generator(s) the it's then a PP-xxx or a PU-xxx depending on the type generator(s) and how they are used. Flatbed with no generator(s) just means someone took them off.
I recommend one of all you can never have too many trailers or genset. Wayne
