I tried to get engine to rev up with the governor to run the generator today and it did not work. I did notice the actuator trying to move when I turned on the switch for governor control. I also noticed when I turned the switch on the pto indicator light would dim slightly and brighten up when I turn the switch off. This is barely noticeable. After a few minutes the governor actuator stopped moving and the pto light did not dim when the switch is turned on. The engine never did ramp up. When I manually rev the engine the frequency meter will not register anything (all white bars) but the air compressor will run. I am stuck, anyone have any ideas?
