Farm kids in Germany also drive any kind of stuff in their yard from the age of 10 or 11, including wheel loaders and 350 hp tractors. Thbis is with the modern stuff much easier than 40 years ago.

That's some good use of the young'un. The daughter, 14, has driven the M108 crane around some, and the son has been driving the deuce since 8 yrs old. He drives off road now, shifting gears and all, he's 12 now.
