16" wheels on M1009

Has anybody used 16" wheels on a M1009? I have a set of factory 16" wheels off a 1988 K1500 chevy pickup that I used to have. Will these wheels and tires work? They are 6 lug.

No, I wouldn't run them, wrong offest/backspacing

You would have a narrower wheel track. Like the railroad trucks.

I had that brainstorm too, but the 16" rims I tried have about a 7" setback and the center is smaller like 3 1/8" and the 15" rim is around 4" setback and 3 3/8" centers.
