24v battery, thought this was cool

I was looking around for some other things and found my self at wally worlds website. I was not aware they made 24v batteries. I dont know, with our charging/starting system being 24v if these would ever be really useful, just kinda cool.

That's a group 24 Deep Cycle (24DC) 12 volt marine battery. Not 24VDC (volts D.C.).

Group 24 has to do with the size / shape and capacity of the battery, not the voltage.

Thats a 12 volt marine deep cycle battery, here's an actual 24 volt battery http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/elpages/rg24-20.php but at $620 for only 225 CCA, I'll stick with two 1000 CCA group 31s for half the cost.
