31.5 volts!

Checking out the volts output of the truck while it's running, I am getting a total putput of 31.5 at the 24v block. 17 volts at the back battery, 14.5 at the front. 17 sounds kinda high, right? I was thinking of seeing around 14.5 on each, thus producing around 29v at the 24v block, but not 31!
If this is not normal, could be the passenger side's voltage regulator that is causing this?

Thoughts?

That would be the passenger side alternator that he is having issues with. The drivers side handles the primary 12v battery (front)

Don't know about the CUCV, but the 28 volt/60 amp alternators for the deuce have a simple voltage adjustment. For the generators with an external regulator there is also an adjustment to trim the voltage output.
It's a regulator problem.
