Is there any need for a light weight or aftermarket flywheel? I once again have my motor pulled and this time got to starring at flywheel and this question came across my mind. I've put them on my gas motors and would think it would help on a diesel but not familiar enough to know. And if so, then where can I find one?

because the motor that was put in to replace the one that had a blown head gasket and was froze up with rust, only ran for two minutes and threw a rod...ya defin pissed about that one. So I'm back to ground zero. I heard that the guys doing mods were doing flywheels but not sure if it was 6.2's or not...
