Hi @Plasa ,

I don't know for sure, but touching your "drip point" and smelling the oil might help your diagnosis. I am guessing that it won't be hydraulic fluid. Although, the hose connector may well be leaking too. The point of the drip for that may not actually be dripping though... It might be worth cleaning the area and observe it again...

Either the PTO output shaft seal or the hyd pump input shaft seal. That is just your truck marking it's territory.
Thank you for the input. I clean it up and for me seems to come from the pto between pto and hyd. pump. But I am not sure because the oil is not clear but red. (atf3?).
Is there any hose ore other stuff from the trans over the pto? I can live if it's hyd. oil or from the pto shaft. but having a transmission faillure is one of my nightmares

Well where do you use red oil? the PTO gearbox I believe uses pressure lube, thats that hose connected down to the corner of the control module... you could pull the hydraulic pump off of the PTO drive and should be able to confirm this, particularly if your trans uses red ATF...

I think it's ATF oil because it's red. Does anyone already change the seals of the pto? What components have to be remove to unmount the pto gear box? For sure air filter, but also coolant reservoir?
