I find that, while perusing the astounding volume of threads found herein, I am repeatedly having to log in. I noted something about timing out in a thread in '05. What's the current drill? Can I re-set a default or something? I spend a remarkably amout of time on the site as getting-my-deuce draws nearer, and it's a bit of a nuisance.

checking that will most likely help. Other thing to look at, is any security software that may be auto-clearing cookies...

I have exactly the same issue. Often, I am signed off while writing a post if it is longer than a few lines. I am always having to sign back in. Checking the remember me box didn't seem to make any difference.
