I am going to have wheels made by stazworks for an m715 with rockwells.
I would like to have them to be interchangeable with my deuce, should I go with the singles on it.

Optimum for the M715 will be 10 x20 with a 6" backspacing.

Will this size fit the deuce without problem?

Thanks
Chris

Chris: What size singles? 20x10 is OK for 12.00R20, 13.00R20, 13/80R20(365/85R20), also 15.5/80R20 (395/80R20) and up. MPT tires like 12.5R20(335/80R20) and 14.5R20(365/80R20) need special 20x11 rims!

Offset (backspace) for M35 deuce wheels is 10.5", M34 9.5".
10" rim wheels with only 6" backspace mounted on the front axle would increase the M35 front track by 11.5"or 9.5" for the M34. That is a lot! And a lot of added strain to kingpins and bushings, too!
Why 6"? Has the Rockwell front end been shortened to fit the M715?

M1075: What offset do you have on your wheels?

I was woundering where you got thsoe rims and tires and if they are meat DOT stuff. Did you have to modify anything to fit those 15.50's. For that matter, what is a 15.50 or 395? I love the look of that truck and would be willing to pay good money for the exact setup. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also, would you say that of road performance is better with the singles? thank you, jake

Off road (and snow) performance is vastly superior with singles, as the rears do not have to break a new track. The military knows this, and now almost all tacticals have singles. However, duals are preferred on the highway because of the four "spare" tires already on the ground in the back. A flat in the rear duals is easily dealt with - just keep driving!

You can get rims & tires like those from USA6x6 or Stazworks. They will cost you about $450-$550 + mounting for a wheel/tire combo. I have one set left @ $395 each. Recommeded tire sizes are Michelin XML 395/85R20 and Michelin G20 Pilote 15.5R80. Both have the approximately the same dimensions (15.5" wide and 46" tall). No mods needed if you keep under GVW and performance is much better is just about every aspect.
