Confirm in your TM that its a ground and you should be able to attach it to anything solid and close to the firewall, just make sure that whatever your attaching to is not rubber mounted.

Not getting any heat when I flip the switch to heat. Does this wire have anything to do with it and where does it ground to?
Look on the other side of the unit for the ground screw.
To get heat, you also need to turn the fan on....and the engine needs to be warm and running.
And if going from a/c to heat or the other way, it takes a minute or so for the water valve to move.

On the back side of the unit? Also engine was running, 200 degrees and had it on heat for over 10 minutes. Do you know how to test the valve?

That is the ground that should terminate on the fan motor, left side, it’s a fine thread 10/32 nut.
The hot water valve fails in an open state, it only closes when AC is selected.
