Brake light woes

We are having a bit of a problem with the M715 at the Military Veterans Museum & Education Center. When the light switch is put in the Stop Light position the brake lights work. When we move the switch to Service Drive the tail lights come on and the brake lights stop working. Any one have any ideas why this might be? Could there be a jumper messed up in the switch somewhere?

Check the contacts on the back of the switch...something (dirt grime or frayed wires) are completing the circut and/or causing a short.
