Here is my vice setup. Works for me. Used a 2" hitch mount so it is removable and lockable.

That's a nice set-up you have. The problem for me is, I cannot keep lifting up my vise every time I need to use it. Take today for example. I had hand surgery yesterday. Now I can barely use my left hand. It will get better but it will never be the same. All these injuries I have add up. I need to make my truck as user friendly as I can. That's another reason I will be replacing all my torque rod ends (dog-bones) soon. Though it will take me a little longer then it used to, I can still do the work now. Further down the road and I will not be able to do it. Same with moving a heavy vise.
