I have a 1989 Humvee m998 that will not start , has anyone bypassed the start control box , and how they did it. Starter spins engine but the control box is not opening fuel solenoid to start engine. Has got to be a way to bypass the start box install a momentary switch to run glow plugs or just rewire engine like a GM or chevy pickup with the 6.5 diesel. Bought a new control box and had to send it back , would start engine but would not keep it running in the run position of switch .
