I stumbled on this article (it's a bit older) about the C-141's retirement back in 2006.
I the latter 70's I was privileged to make some loooong flights as a special "up front" passenger, enjoying a cockpit view and all. (Most of my travels for No Such Agency granted me special seat assignments and treatment.)
