Use tips made for 1” webbing. They measure less than 1” in diameter. The guy on eBay is correct. Here’s a tip for pressing the tips onto strap ends if you don’t have an actual press. I flip the jaws of my vise to the smooth side out, lightly lube the jaws so the ball tip slides as it presses flat. Set the strap end in the tip so it’s a smooth roll inside the tip, then close the vise. The ball tip will press flat perfectly every time.Does anyone know where I can buy these canvas tips? I need them for my straps Im making from spare straps I need to cut to size. I did find someone on eBay but he is not avaiable and Im not sure thats the right size. The standard strap is about 1" so does the tip need to be 1" or smaller? The ones on eBay are 5/8.
