Many local charities have been neglected this year because everyone already dug deep for the Hurricanes. So....I am organizing a trip into NYC for Wednesday 28 DEC 05. The trip would be to bring food, water, warm clothing (new!) to shelters and church/charities. These items were donated to me/the academy to bring to Katrina, but I was uncomfortable bringing it (the deuce) by myself. I have other Academy Soldiers who would go - but we would like other vehicles (CUCV, HMMWV, Deuce, 5 ton)! We will find out church/shelters to bring to - and set up stops, food, sleeping quarters, but need more vehicles. If you would like to help out - this is the time!

Let me know! I am in South Jersey (NEAR Long Beach Island - just south of Toms River)

Our mission was a success. Myself and another vehicle enthusiast (Zyggy) piled high into the vehicles and dropped around a ton of supplies at a Veteran's Shelter in Queens. Thank you and God Bless. To see PICTURES go to our album (NJDrillSgt's Deuce) in the Photos Section of this site. Since the earlier pictures, we have repainted my M35A2, added convoy lights (thanks Zyggy), and canvas. Let me know how she looks!

Yes...He is also a volunteer instructor (Transportation/Maintenance Shop) with the Academy. He utilizes his vehicles for use with us as well. Good Man.
