All cucv trailer military wiring is 12 volts. Just like the city Chevy trucks the power is taped from the rear lights and they are 12volts. If you are going to tow a military trailer either the trailer lamps will be very dim or the trailer lamps will need to be replaced with 12 v versions. The military started using the new led omni volt (12 to 30v) assembly's so changing out the bulbs were not required. The only thing that is 24 volt is the starter and glow plugs and the military radio rack if it has one, and the slave plug in the grill.
