Deuce hard top

what does take to change from soft top to hard top?or from hard to soft in the summer? Was wondering because of the snow that could be on the truck in the winter.

The hard top is bolted on all the way around the base and at the end of the windsheild frame

so you could change tops with the seasons if you wanted to

well mine is retaining water on top they start to cave in towards the center with water so I imagine snow would be worse

Yea you can swap them back and forth. It takes about 20min start to finish.

8" of wet snow hasnt caved in mine in days past... (soft top)

but it would be an once of prevetion though.making sure that the roof deosn't cave in.

My deuce came with a soft top but the previous owner inserted a piece of 1/2" or maby thicker hard foam insulation (The blue stuff) between the top and the support rods..It works great..I just painted it green like everything else and it has held up a lot of snow since it's insertion....I took a pic to show ya..You could also use plywood if you wanted to..

I keep a vinyl top over the canvas for extra protection when the deuce isn't used. It comes off and on easily and is held in place with bungy cords.

That is just my external speaker for my CB..I painted them both OD green for the Mil-Spec look though..

I had found a couple for around $500. seco has new ones for 895 and every now and then they go on sale for 695.
