if you are not going to use it, the plug and harness can be removed from the truck without harm.

one of the features of the ICE kit is that it can read the engine rpm, I have not been able to figure out which pins is uses or the voltages that are used, but in theory we could just plug in an electric tach and calibrate it.

i have looked and it does show which pin it is, but doesnt give the voltage parameters. guess I could just hook up a voltmeter and try it out. but at that point, a TinyTach might be easier.

Okay...so explain this dohickey to me...use small words please...it's some kind of a computer that can tell you how well your engine is running?

Despite most of these vehicles listed being pretty "stone age"?
