Difference between a 41 wc4 and a 41 wc 12

I have a 41 wc 4 and today I seen a 41 wc 12 What does the 4 and 12 mean they both look like the same truck?

I believe they were variants of the Dodge 1/2-ton Truck Chassis.

Thanks that was a big help, They said mine was a open top with a winch mine is a closed top with a winch but the tag that says wc 4 on the glove box door my have came from a different truck.
