Dodge WC52 Engine number.

Hi, I have a 1943 Dodge WC52. I am baffled by the engine number,it is -F103856.The truck has a rebuild plaque on the dash,it was rebuilt at the US Army works in Germany in 1950. Can anyone shed any light on the engine number.
