Drivers side front brake caliper

I got a M1045A2 a couple of months ago. i am doing all the maintenance before taking it out. In doing the front brakes i am unable to get the drivers side front caliper back on with the new pads. There is not enough room to pivot it past the new pads. It gets jambed against the front cross support. I read many posts that say the front brakes are easy... I guess I am not as handy as I thought. Any help is appreciated.

Got it. Took off the inboard side of the half shaft and was able to angle the rotor and make it work.
