My transfer case is leaking a bit. The seal number in the book is GM-3659542 and the complete transfer case seal and gasket kit is GM-2151667. I've found these at one of the MV dealers but would like to get them locally if possible. Does anyone have a cross or know if these numbers will work at a NAPA?DSCN0680.jpg

Get a caliper. Measure the diameter of the yoke sealing surface, and the inner diameter of the retainer where the seal presses into. With this info, go to your local bearing supply house. The 70 year old GM seals are leather which is fine, but that is a bit old technology.

Nice DUKW!
