Most of my ABS connectors are bad like this:

Does anyone have the same problem ?

My research so far led me to the connector specs:
Kostal socket M 24 x 1 3-pin

However this does not seems to be a field crimp connector and I will have to use something like this to redo:

If anyone have made those connectors in the field please share. Otherwise I will have to strip and joint them.

Lots like brake cleaner or a solvent may have eaten up that one. I don't see melting. Chinese rubber will do this prematurely as well, as the will deliberately leave out important rubber components to make more $$. UV will eat Chinese rubber in days and colors are often lost.

Just cut the rest of that off, clean it up good, use some deoxit, etc. Cut the wires a good bit down from the connector - like 4-6" so you can replace the failed rubber with 3M heat shrink w/sealant and install a Deutsch connector as an intermediate connector in case you do need to do the flying lead replacement cannon plug in the future.
