Greetings everyone and thank you for this site; looks like an amazing group of very helpful enthusiasts. I've learned more in the last 7 days than in the previous 6 months, and already made a donation to the site.

Very close to making a purchase, want the bobbed/ big tire modification, have looked at and followed a number of them in the last couple months, but still torturing myself debating 2.5 vs. 5 Ton. Have read some of the discussion on that.

2.5 ton will be more bang for your buck IMHO and you could always put air steering on it. I have one truck that belonged to the Oscoda fire department.. Glad you found us..
