Frayed wires on temperature sensor

This is a picture of the temperature sensor on the back of the driver side head. As you can see, the wires are in bad shape at the connector. Does anyone know where I can get another connector/pig tail to replace this one? In addition, I would like to know if this is the sensor that tells the GP module to turn on the glow plugs, or is it maybe the sensor that stops the glow plugs from coming on when the engine is warm? Thanks for the help!

Common issue. The new replacement temperature sensor will come with a new pigtail to apply with the redesigned sensor.

And yes that will be part of the glow plug system. The other sensor is at the rear of the passenger's side head. It is behind the last glow plug and has 2 wires.

You need a WT3000 Coolant temp sensor. Some do come with the proper connector and pig tail.

Thanks for the help everybody. I did find a WT3000 sensor with pigtail on Amazon. Hopefully it will be the right one.
