frt driveshaft issue after 700r4 install

Hi, hoping for some advice. Installed a 700r4 mated to an np205 t/c in my M1031. Left the frt driveshaft out until tonight while I got some issues sorted out with my TV cable. Went to install my frt shaft, WHOOPS, cv joint will not fit. It hits the pan on the tranny. Will I be able to swap out to a regular u-joint and yoke and it fit?
