Fuel pump ID question

I lost the in tank pump on my M109, so I bought a rebuilt one from a friend. When I went to install it today I discovered that it is the wrong unit! I LOOKS like a Multifuel in tank pump, but the wiring is different. The old pump is hard wired into the top of the unit, the new one has a bayonet plug on the side. What do I have? Anyone want to swap it for the correct pump in the same condition?

The first two pix are the rebuilt pump I bought, the third photo is the old INOP pump. I need one like that.

Looks good to me. Some, like the one with the plug on top, are soldered in. Others are twist lock. Connectors should be the same. I have also seen some where they took an awl and punched in the sides to retain the plug. If the last pic's pump is dead, heat it up to melt the solder and pull the plug out. I bet it works with the new one.

The connector on your old pump is hld in with two indentations, if you drill throgh these the connector will pull out. You can then use it in the new pump, once it,s in centre punch housing to hold it in.
Dave.
